Welcome to Wee Winks Market and Deli – A Duck, NC Landmark Since 1976

Wee Winks Market and Deli holds a special place in Duck’s history as the first and original beach shop in town. Established in 1976, it was one of the very first buildings to set up shop in this small beachside community. Built by Jerry Davis, son of Miles “Wink” Davis, this family-owned business quickly became a vital stop for locals and vacationers. Located at the end of the paved road, which turned to sand leading north to Corolla, Wee Winks was the last place to grab supplies before heading further up the coast to Corolla, then home to only 19 residents.

As the town of Duck evolved, so did Wee Winks. In 2013, the store was rebuilt to reflect the more modern Outer Banks, while still maintaining its original charm. Although the iconic gas pumps are no longer part of the store, the addition of a fully-equipped kitchen means we now offer delicious made-to-order sandwiches, fresh salads, and scratch-made pastries from our deli.

Still family-owned, now by Nathan and Ninette Bearfield, Wee Winks Market and Deli remains committed to providing locals and visitors alike with everything they need for a perfect stay in Duck.
